Art imitates life, and life is led by the spirit. Life imitates art, and art is powered by the spirit. The calling to be an artist is a spiritual one, but the influence of our lives shapes our art. We learn about the spirit as we face our lives, and our art becomes an expression of that. Art then turns around and shapes our lives and our spiritual journey. Three in One. It’s not a new concept.
The purpose of Art+Life+Spirit is to cultivate an honest and thoughtful approach to creativity, art, and culture for Christians and non-Christians alike. Though lifestyles and beliefs often differ, it is through art that bridges can be built, and an understanding as human beings can be forged.
